Brenna's homeschool years included major life challenges, including her second born son’s car accident at age 18 that took him back to the basics of relearning to walk, talk, write, etc. Yet after 25 years, all 5 of her children have graduated from homeschool, received college scholarships, including the Hathaway, and have diverse careers ranging from a PhD in chemical engineering to medical work to trades. Brenna held firm to Deuteronomy 6:7 while seeking to preserve curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and develop a Christian worldview in her children.
Brenna is available Friday, May 1 from 10:10-11:00

Elsie’s children are second-generation homeschoolers, as Elsie was homeschooled from 1st through 12th grade as an only child and is now carrying the torch. With 3 boys, widely spread between high school, middle school and elementary, her methods are geared toward her son’s needs and from an eclectic style that tends to gravitate toward Charlotte Mason methods. Furthermore, Elsie has always worked part-time and homeschools in addition to this role.
Elsie is available Friday, May 1 from 1:30-2:20
Not only did Michele homeschool 3 biological children, each of whom earned an associate's degree from Casper College, but she also homeschooled 2 foster sisters. Later, she and her husband adopted 2 girls from China. Furthermore, the children were active in a variety of extracurricular activities at Kelly Walsh. Michele shares that the Word of God was her guide, and God used the adventures in homeschooling to do His sanctifying work in her; in fact, it was one of the most precious gifts in her life.
Michelle is available Saturday, May 2 from 11:00-11:50
Shauna began homeschooling during the preschool years on a modest income; God always provided. She understands the struggles of life. One child was dyslexic and another was diagnosed with epilepsy. During her 19 years, they used Abeka, Classical Conversations and other resources as needed. They loved reading! Her oldest 4 participated in dual enrollment classes, while her youngest began in 8th grade at a Christian school when Shauna returned to college to study nursing. Her youngest will graduate this spring!
Shauna is available Saturday, May 2 from 1:40-3:30
